Alaina Fidanzo has been making waves in Portland since the age of 12 as an artist, music director and multi-instrumentalist. Her rising project, The In Between, fuses folk and alternative ingredients to weave a narrative through creation, heartbreak and the irrevocable (and often sing-along-able) power of connection and togetherness. Standing on the shoulders of musical big sisters like Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, and Madison Cunningham, Alaina is setting the bar for live music in the in-between of understanding and challenging the speaking ear, moving body, and breathing heart.
